A Strategic Website Redesign Doubles Traffic in Six Months
As Hardlines was approaching its 30th anniversary, the firm wanted to expand its digital marketing and find better, more prominent ways to showcase the firm’s experience, past projects and stories behind everything they do. They reached out to GREENCREST to conducta website audit followed by a refreshed design of the website that addressed issues uncovered in the audit.
GREENCREST went to work to redesign and relaunch Hardlines Design Company’s website, resolving search engine optimization issues and adding additional depth to the website’s content. The new site features a clean, engaging look and navigation for visitors, plus a flexible format and an intuitive back-end user interface with content pages the Hardlines team can update themselves. The redesign also includes a new Projects page, which allows the firm to post project case studies, and a new Meet the Team page that provides additional information about the Hardlines team’s expertise. In addition, GREENCREST optimized the site, including improving user experience, delivering a fast-loading site that provides an accurate and attractive display across all browsers and devices.
In the six months immediately following the new website launch in December 2019, traffic to the new Hardlines site increased 283.5% compared to the previous six months. During that same time frame, users increased 285.4% and new users increased 280.2%. The firm now has an updated website that showcases their beautiful work in historic architecture and preservation and planning.
